Responsibilities
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager in coordinating daily housekeeping activities across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Supervise and support housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to quality standards
- Monitor cleaning procedures, including janitorial tasks, laundry services, and custodial duties, maintaining consistent cleanliness throughout the property
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel standards
- Train new team members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, optimizing usage and minimizing waste
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction and resolve issues effectively
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or management experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong background in cleaning, custodial work, laundry services, and commercial cleaning operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to hospitality cleaning practices
- Previous hotel experience or hospitality background is highly preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
