As our client base continues to grow, we're looking for an Automation & AI Solutions Engineer who enjoys solving complex business challenges with technology and wants to help build the next generation of intelligent business operations.
About the Role
As our Automation & AI Solutions Engineer, you'll design, build, and deploy automation solutions for clients across a variety of industries. You'll work alongside consultants and business leaders to translate operational challenges into scalable technical solutions using AI, APIs, automation platforms, and modern cloud technologies.
This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role for someone who enjoys both engineering and problem-solving. You'll have significant ownership over projects and the opportunity to influence how our automation practice evolves as the company grows.
What You'll Do
- Design and build end-to-end workflow automations for client engagements
- Develop AI-powered business solutions using large language models and modern AI platforms
- Build integrations between CRMs, ERPs, databases, project management tools, and cloud applications
- Configure APIs, webhooks, authentication, and custom integrations
- Implement solutions using platforms such as Make.com, n8n, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, and similar technologies
- Work closely with consultants to understand business requirements and recommend automation strategies
- Optimize existing workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability
- Troubleshoot production automations and resolve technical issues
- Create documentation, process maps, and implementation guides for internal teams and clients
- Stay current on emerging AI, automation, and integration technologies while identifying opportunities to improve our service offerings
QualificationsRequired:
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing business automation solutions
- Experience with one or more automation platforms (Make.com, n8n, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, Workato, or similar)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, OAuth, and third-party integrations
- Experience integrating SaaS platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Airtable, Notion, Monday.com, ClickUp, QuickBooks, or similar business systems
- Basic scripting experience using JavaScript, Python, or another modern programming language
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple client projects in a fast-paced consulting environment
Preferred:
- Experience building AI-powered workflows using OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or vector databases
- Experience with SQL, cloud databases, Azure, AWS, Docker, or GitHub
- Previous consulting or professional services experience
- Experience documenting technical implementations and client-facing solutions
- Passion for learning emerging AI technologies and applying them to real-world business challenges
