Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Dental Assistant to join our successful dental practice. Candidate must have excellent patient care and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilized.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control standards.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Record medical history and vital signs of patients accurately.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with practice policies.
Experience
- Experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
