As a Program Aide, you will assist with the daily classroom activities and maintenance of the child care center. Program Aides are under the supervision of a child care teacher, and do not count in the teacher/child ratio.
Work alongside a child care teacher to help facilitate classroom activities, including: active supervision, sign in/out procedures, medical logbook entries, and accident reports
Engage with the children by playing alongside them, talking with them and asking them questions to further their development
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, organized and engaging learning environment in the classrooms throughout the center
Assist with gathering materials, doing laundry, pushing meal carts, making photocopies and other center needs
Meal Prep under the supervision of a child care teacher
Clean and sanitize classroom and materials
Additional tasks may be assigned
