1st Shift: 5am - 1:30pm & 2nd Shift: 9pm - 6:30am

Director of Engineering & Facilities
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Director of Engineering & Facilities, performs cleaning of building structure, machinery, equipment, ductwork, pipes, disinfects contaminated surfaces, and changes all filters.
JOB DUTIES:
- Must know and use proper lock-out / tag-out procedures.
- Must wear proper personal protective equipment.
- Must be able to thoroughly clean all production equipment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Cleans all ductwork, louvers, grills, trenches, drains and replaces air filters when necessary.
- Must maintain cleanliness of all work areas.
- Reports any malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Must be flexible with work schedule to help cover vacations and the demands of production.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Ability to organize work.
- Be familiar with the operation of photo eyes, proximity sensors, solenoid valves and all other kinds of electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Be familiar with the operation of fork lifts, and various types of manlifts.
- Able to follow written instructions in order to perform various Preventive Maintenance procedures.
- Ability to provide clear written reports on work performed on a daily basis.
- Understand and follow proper personal safety practices while performing various equipment cleaning and disinfecting.
- Be very familiar with the “Lock out – Tag out” procedures.
OTHER JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for compliance with Organizational Integrity through raising questions and promptly reporting actual or potential wrongdoing.
- Participates in and coordinates with organizational process to collect and evaluate information about hazards and safety practices that are used to identify safety management issues. Adheres to established policies and procedures, which may include wearing of personal protective equipment.
- Participates in and fosters a performance improvement approach that includes both intradepartmental and interdepartmental activities.
