Job Description
New Construction Plumbers: Rough-In, Trim, Groundwork
- Commercial work, industrial buildings, tenant improvements, etc.
- Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
- Cut, assemble and install pipes with attention to existing infrastructure
- Install and maintain water supply systems
- Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems
- Drilling, use of power tools, installation of bathtubs, showers
Service Plumbers
- Commercial work, industrial buildings
- Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
- Cut, assemble and install pipes with attention to existing infrastructure
- Install and maintain water supply systems
- Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems
- Drilling, use of power tools, installation of bathtubs, showers
- Drain cleaning, fixture repair and replacements, water heaters, troubleshooting, leak detection, cable machines, hydro jetting, boiler tech
- After hours and weekend jobs as scheduled
Skills and Requirements
- Commercial Journeyman Plumbing License
- Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems commercial and industrial buildings
- Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to lift up at least 40 pounds
- Comfortable on ladders and in crawl spaces
