The Role:
As an Advisor, you’ll guide business owners through the process of selling their companies—from valuation and marketing through negotiation and closing. This is a client-facing, deal-making, entrepreneurial role that rewards initiative, persistence, and emotional intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of business sale transactions: valuation, packaging, marketing, buyer vetting, negotiation, and closing.
- Build and maintain relationships with business owners, buyers, lenders, accountants, attorneys, and other advisors.
- Conduct financial analysis of businesses (P&Ls, balance sheets, tax returns, financial recasting).
- Prepare confidential business summaries and marketing packages.
- Oversee due diligence, escrow, and transaction coordination in partnership with our internal team.
- Represent SDBA professionally and uphold our standards of ethics, transparency, and discretion.
Requirements
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a performance-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proven experience in outside sales, with a strong track record in B2B sales environments.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Passionate about helping entrepreneurs and small business owners succeed.
- California DRE license (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
