Qualifications & Experience:
- Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience in school-based OT preferred
- Familiarity with educational settings, IEP processes, and pediatric populations
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in multiple school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and report on student progress
- Assist schools in identifying environmental adaptations and resources for student success
- Travel as needed within the district to assigned school locations
