First Property Management is growing, and we're looking for an experienced property management professional who loves organization, problem-solving, and making things run well.
The Property Management Operations & Growth Specialist works directly with the President of First Property Management and plays an important role in keeping the company organized, strengthening our operations, and supporting our continued growth.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already understands third-party property management and is ready to expand their experience beyond managing individual tasks or properties. You'll have visibility into sales, new client onboarding, company operations, reporting, and process improvement — and you'll help us build better systems as we grow.
If you're naturally organized, notice things other people miss, enjoy solving problems, and don't need someone constantly telling you what to do, you'll probably love this role.
What You'll Do
- Own the administrative onboarding of new clients and properties from start to finish
- Serve as the first contact for new sales leads, gather key information, identify qualified prospects, and coordinate sales calls with the President
- Maintain the sales pipeline and coordinate proposals, agreements, and follow-up
- Help keep daily office operations organized and ensure appropriate office coverage
- Troubleshoot routine resident and operational concerns and make sure issues get to the right person
- Work directly with the President to develop and maintain a dashboard of key business operations
- Monitor trends in maintenance, work orders, lease renewals, collections, bill processing, sales activity, and customer reviews
- Prepare a concise Weekly Operations Report for company leadership every Friday
- Monitor and respond to Google reviews
- Complete file audits and operational reports as needed
- Identify things that aren't working as well as they could, research potential solutions, and help implement improvements
- Handle office supplies and other routine operational needs
You'll Be Great at This If You...
- Have 3+ years experience working for a third-party property management company
- Understand how residential property management works — owners, residents, leasing, maintenance, renewals, collections, and the day-to-day issues that come with it
- Are extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Are a self-starter who sees what needs to be done and gets moving
- Enjoy figuring things out and solving problems
- Can juggle several priorities without letting things fall through the cracks
- Communicate professionally and confidently with residents, property owners, prospects, and coworkers
- Are comfortable with property management software, spreadsheets, reports, and learning new systems
- Know when you can handle something yourself — and when something needs leadership's attention
- Like the idea of helping a growing small business become even better
*** PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING***
Previous third-party property management experience is required for this position.
If your experience is exclusively in leasing, general office administration, hospitality, or another industry, this is not the right position.
We're specifically looking for someone who already understands the moving pieces of third-party property management and can bring that knowledge into a broader operations role.
Why This Role Is Different
This isn't a traditional property management position, and you won't be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties.
Instead, you'll get exposure to how a growing property management company operates as a business — including sales, onboarding, operational performance, customer experience, reporting, and process improvement.
You'll work closely with the President, learn how decisions are made, and have opportunities to take on greater responsibility as the company grows.
If you're good at property management but especially enjoy organization, systems, problem-solving, and making the whole operation work better, this could be a strong next step in your career.
