Long standing company looking to hire a head of construction. We primarily build multi family residential apartments buildings. Responsible for the on-site management of multiple construction projects and on-site construction project teams through all phases of construction. You will facilitate the completion of projects safely, on time, and on budget. You will be relied upon to build and mentor an enthusiastic on-site team and enjoy working on complicated and intricate design projects.
Will help with housing and relocation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum BA/BS in construction, architecture, engineering or a related field preferred but not required
15 + years industry experience preferred.
- Experience with high end custom residential projects is a must.
- Ability to read drawings and specifications required
- Must have excellent organization skills and be self-motivated
- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally
Have experience working directly with clients, vendors, and design professional team members
- Have professional verbal and written communication skills in person, over the phone and via email and text
- Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
