Water Recycle Supervisor
JAN Resources, LLC is seeking a Water Recycle Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for chemical treatment troubleshooting, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and ensuring the safe handling of chemicals used in water recycling operations.
What You'll Do
- Complete daily tasks and projects as directed by management
- Participate in training related to chemical program improvements
- Conduct surveys and troubleshoot chemical treatment processes
- Maintain accurate chemical inventory and assist with related problem-solving
- Set up and inspect equipment, identifying and repairing leaks as needed
- Identify and report safety hazards to maintain a safe work environment
- Handle hazardous chemicals safely using proper PPE
- Replace filter socks as needed
- Perform water sample analysis and adjust chemical dosages
- Collect and analyze water samples; perform preventive and emergency equipment maintenance
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and management
- Maintain timely, accurate reporting and a clean, organized work area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with oilfield operations and safety regulations a plus
- Light mechanical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to work independently for extended periods
- Must be 23 years of age or older
- Must pass a criminal background check, MVR, and drug screen
- Class C Driver's License required; CDL preferred
- Experience with chemical handling/treatment on a frac site preferred
Schedule
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, gases, dust, fumes, and varying weather conditions (wet, hot, cold, extreme). Noise levels are moderate to loud. Employees must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly, and stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
