Job Overview
Infinity Vending is looking for a dependable, hard-working Part-Time Warehouse and Route Associate to help with daily warehouse operations and vending-route service.
This is a consistent, Monday through Friday. The employee will primarily pick and stage product orders, load company vehicles, organize warehouse inventory and maintain a clean work area. The position will also train to service vending machines and cover established delivery routes as needed.
The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, comfortable with physical work and capable of working independently. No vending experience is required. Training and a company vehicle are provided while working.
Duties
- Pick and stage snacks, beverages and other products for daily vending routes
- Load and unload cases, trays and supplies from company vehicles
- Organize inventory and keep the warehouse clean and orderly
- Rotate products and check expiration dates to reduce waste
- Receive, count and put away incoming product deliveries
- Follow prepared pick lists and ensure orders are accurate
- Service, stock and clean vending machines at customer locations
- Drive an established vending route when coverage is needed
- Collect and secure cash from vending machines when required
- Report machine problems, low inventory and customer requests promptly
- Provide professional and courteous service at customer locations
- Follow company procedures, traffic laws and workplace safety requirements
- Perform other warehouse, delivery and route-support tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from the Farmingdale warehouse
- Ability to consistently report to work early in the morning
- Dependable, punctual and able to follow a set schedule
- Ability to lift and carry cases weighing up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending and lifting throughout the shift
- Able to work independently and follow pick lists and route instructions accurately
- Basic counting, organization and inventory skills
- Professional and respectful when working at customer locations
- Willingness to learn vending-machine stocking, cash handling and basic troubleshooting
- Prior warehouse, delivery, stocking or route experience is preferred but not required
