THE ROLE
We're looking for a seasoned Master Carpenter who can do it all. From rough framing to finish work, custom built-ins to architectural millwork — you'll be a key player on high-end residential projects where quality and precision are non-negotiable. This is a full-time, field-based position working directly alongside our project team on luxury custom homes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Execute all phases of carpentry on luxury custom home projects — framing, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, trim, cabinetry, millwork, and custom built-ins
- Read and interpret architectural and structural plans with precision
- Fabricate and install custom woodwork, cabinetry, shelving, staircases, and architectural details
- Work closely with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to maintain schedule and quality
- Hold the standard — inspect your own work and that of others to ensure luxury-level results
- Problem-solve on the fly while protecting design intent
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of experience in high-end residential or luxury custom home carpentry (required)
- Mastery across all carpentry disciplines — rough and finish, structural and decorative
- Proven experience with architectural millwork, custom built-ins, and fine finish work
- Ability to read and work from detailed construction drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail with a craftsman's eye and pride in your work
- Reliable, professional, and a team player who communicates well
- Own tools required; reliable transportation required
- OSHA 10 preferred; valid driver's license required
COMPENSATION & BONUS STRUCTURE
We believe in rewarding craftsmen who show up, perform, and take pride in their work. In addition to your base salary, you'll be eligible for the following:
- Project Completion Bonus — $500–$1,500 per project upon on-time, quality completion as verified by the project superintendent
- Craftsmanship/Quality Bonus — Up to $2,000 annually based on client satisfaction scores and quality evaluations conducted at project close
- Annual Performance Bonus — Up to 5% of base salary based on your yearly performance review, covering reliability, attitude, skill growth, and leadership on site
- Retention Bonus — $1,500 paid at your 12-month anniversary, $2,500 at your 24-month anniversary — we invest in people who invest in us
Total compensation potential: $80,000–$100,000+ for a high performer
