The Anesthesia Technology adjunct instructor is primarily responsible for supporting student learning by providing quality instruction in lab courses that the adjunct faculty member and the Dean/Director agree will be taught. Quality instruction includes clear course didactic, lab, and/or clinical objectives. Additionally prepared and relevant didactic, lab, and clinical activities, effective and understandable presentations of learning materials, fair and understandable grading practices (credit classes only), timely responses to students, and a positive atmosphere in the classroom.

Minimum Education/Experience
1) Associate degree in Anesthesia Technology and current certification as an Anesthesia Technologist (Cer. ATT)
AND
Minimum of one (1) year of clinical practice.
OR
2) Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with a master’s degree in nursing and a current, unencumbered RN license.
AND
Minimum of one (1) year of clinical practice.
OR
3) Physician (MD or DO) with a current unencumbered Oklahoma license to practice anesthesiology.

Work Hours
As identified for assigned classes to include morning, afternoon or evening schedules.
Additionally, required office hours must be met.
