TestSource Lab is an independent clinic in Kalamazoo providing access to drug testing, alcohol testing, DNA paternity testing, and a wide variety of clinical applications including flu shots, diagnostic blood tests, life insurance exams and TB testing.
We are searching for a part-time or full-time MA (RMA or CMA within 3 months of hire) to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 am until noon or 1:00 pm if part-time or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm if full-time based on your preferences. T
You may travel to client locations in Kalamazoo County occasionally to perform drug & flu clinics, which are all scheduled in advance.
You may be able to work 40 hours per week if interested.
Job Summary:
- A wide variety of clinical services including venipuncture, injections, phlebotomy, exams and others.
- Drug, alcohol & DNA testing.
- Administrative functions including computer entry, form completion and providing results.
- Stocking, inventory and cleaning.
- Patient & donor communication to enhance usage and understanding of services.
Minimum Qualification & Certification Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credentials required within 3 months of hire.
- Great customer service and problem solving skills.
- Compliance with all regulations including blood born pathogen, OSHA compliance for blood administration and exposure, HIPPA, titers and flu vaccinations are required. We provide the training for you.
- Certified TB tester and reader within 2 months of hire.
- Certified drug collector & Breath Alcohol Technician (including DOT) within 1 month of hire. We will train.
- No relevant criminal convictions, use or convictions of unlawful drugs & alcohol are allowed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required to provide services at client locations.
Work Remotely
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
