Extreme HVAC – Established in Chicago, Illinois, and now launching our new Reno Division – is looking for a motivated, customer-focused HVAC Apprentice to join our growing team!
We’re bringing over 25 years of proven expertise, reliability, and a true customer-first approach from the Midwest to Northern Nevada. If you’re eager to start or build a career in HVAC, passionate about delivering exceptional service, and ready to learn from experienced professionals while building trust with clients, we want you on our team. We specialize in residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning service, maintenance, installation, and repair.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver outstanding customer service as our frontline representative — clearly communicating with homeowners and business clients while exceeding expectations
- Assist senior technicians with routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations on HVAC systems
- Learn to diagnose and resolve issues with furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related equipment
- Help build our Reno customer base through high-quality work and maintenance plan recommendations
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and keep company vehicles/tools organized
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous HVAC experience is a plus, but not required — we’re willing to train the right candidate
- Strong emphasis on customer service and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the HVAC trade
- Valid Nevada driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, professional, and genuinely customer-oriented attitude
- EPA 608 Certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus
- Nevada C-21 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Contractor License (or willingness to pursue) is a plus
