Store Team Member – CB Pet Market
As a Store Team Member at CB Pet Market, you're pawsitively passionate about people and their pets. You aren't just selling products — you're using trained skills and knowledge to provide pet parents with exceptional service and solutions. Hanging out with cute dogs all day is just the icing on the cake… or should we say, the gravy on the kibble!
Responsibilities:
- Help that new dog mom find the perfect food to set her puppy up for a lifetime of success
- Fit a wiggly dachshund with the perfect harness
- Find just the right toy for that bulldog whose chewing is a force to be reckoned with
- Stock shelves and ring up purchases
- Compare pet food labels for the cat parent whose feline friend has a sensitive tummy
- Lend a helping paw to customers and other pack members
- Assist with front desk responsibilities for our full-service grooming salon
- Check dogs in and out for grooming appointments
- Answer phones and schedule grooming appointments
- Provide friendly, organized customer service for both retail and grooming clients
Experience Needed:
We are looking for someone who is excited about pursuing a career in the pet industry. You bring the passion, we bring the training.
The ideal candidate will have retail and customer service experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are important, as this role includes receptionist responsibilities within our grooming salon.
This position will require lifting (up to 40 lbs.), climbing ladders, and standing for long periods of time.
High School Diploma or GED required.
