Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in toddler care and classroom management, with the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of two-year-olds, fostering their growth in literacy, math, and social skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood development.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
- Foster communication skills by engaging children in conversations and interactive activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
- Collaborate with parents to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and standards for daycare settings.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with children, particularly in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with standardized testing practices for early childhood education is a plus.
- Experience with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is desirable.
