Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering items in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues that arise
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Ability to operate tractor-trailers or large commercial vehicles is a plus
- Knowledge of route driving and navigation skills
- Experience with loading and unloading cargo using warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
