Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist in delivering high-quality patient care to residents in our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist in the mobility of patients, including transferring and repositioning.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Help with feeding and hydration of patients, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
- Document patient care activities and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
- Support nursing staff with various tasks as needed, including assisting with medical procedures and preparing equipment.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
- Current CNA certification in [State].
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and provide compassionate care.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move patients as required.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
- Ability to handle the physical and emotional demands of the position.
