Responsibilities
- Prepare and replenish breakfast items, including hot and cold foods, ensuring freshness and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area by cleaning tables, counters, utensils, and equipment regularly.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all food handling complies with health regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays safely and efficiently.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including slicing, portioning, and arranging food items for service.
- Support dietary needs by understanding basic dietary restrictions and accommodating guest requests when possible.
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining or food service environments with a focus on breakfast or catering is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace and operating kitchen equipment safely.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude in in-person interactions.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels.
