GENERAL FUNCTION
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is an outside sales role that achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. This position personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers and oversees and manages the sales operations and direct reports within a specific geographic area. As a key member of the team, the role requires a clear overview of the whole sales and order process which will impact profitability of the regional budget. - PACNW (Washington, Oregon Preferred)
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading and motivating sales teams to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.

Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.

Bring additional Distribution and Merchant partners on board.

Developing sales programs that maximize sales from assigned accounts to target accounts.

Analyzing market trends

Developing sales strategies
-
Identifying opportunities for business growth

Overseeing and conducting market research to develop and implement sales initiatives.

Attend trade events/expos/conferences to grow presence in designated region.

Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

Keeps up to date on product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in fiber cement, building materials, or related industry

Excellent technical knowledge of the fiber cement manufacturing industry

Proven track record of consistent growth in previous roles

Results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.

Confident and practiced in giving presentations to small and large groups.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and CRM software is essential.

Ability to identify new initiatives and apply them.

Handling customer inquiries directly and in a timely manner
