An LPN/LVN position at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Abilene involves delivering direct patient care and supporting recovery in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. [1]Job Summary & Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care to individuals recovering from illnesses, injuries, or surgeries.
- Work closely with registered nurses (RNs), doctors, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Assist patients with daily rehabilitation goals and monitor their clinical progress.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Licensure: Current LPN or LVN license required by the State of Texas (or a valid compact license).
- Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Experience: One year of experience in an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital setting is preferred.
- Specialty: Previous rehabilitation nursing experience is a plus
