Customer Service & Sourcing Representative
Competitive Choice Inc. is a Houston-based, woman-owned company specializing in preventative maintenance chemical programs and infrastructure protection for healthcare, commercial, and institutional facilities.
We are seeking a Customer Service & Sourcing Representative who thrives in a fast-paced, solutions-driven environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping customers, coordinating with vendors, and keeping operations running smoothly.
You will work closely with our sales team, vendors, and customers to prepare quotes, source products, process orders, and ensure an excellent customer experience from inquiry through delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Support
- Provide responsive and professional support to customers via phone and email
- Ensure timely follow-up on orders, quotes, and inquiries
- Resolve order, shipment, or product issues quickly and effectively
Quoting & Order Management
- Prepare customer quotes and sales orders
- Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs
- Maintain accurate order information in company systems
Sourcing & Purchasing Support
- Source products from vendors and request competitive pricing
- Evaluate vendor quotes and identify cost savings opportunities
- Coordinate purchasing and vendor communication to support customer needs
RFQ Management
- Assist with RFQs for government, commercial, and institutional clients
- Gather pricing, specifications, and vendor documentation as needed
Operations & System Accuracy
- Maintain accurate data in internal systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Support e-commerce order flow and product sourcing needs
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth workflows
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 2+ years of purchasing, sourcing, or supply support experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Preferred
- Experience with NetSuite or ERP systems
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
- Experience working with vendor sourcing or product procurement
