What you will enjoy doing
- You will manage safe operations of billing meter stations by performing calibrations, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs as required
- Comply with Safe Work Permit Process including lock-out tag-out, pre-job plans, hot work permits, and other safety initiatives
- Perform detailed maintenance, calibrations, and testing of instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure safe and efficient pipeline and processing operations
- You will also troubleshoot and modify programming of pipeline control systems, including flow computer operations and programming
- Further, you will schedule and coordinate daily activities with operations and supervisory personnel to maintain smooth workflow
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and one-line diagrams accurately
- Perform mechanical tasks such as valve operations, equipment installation, and pipe fitting installation
- Support Damage Preventive Technicians and collaborate effectively while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organization
What makes you great
- You have demonstrate knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in instrumentation, control, and electrical systems
- Possess basic knowledge of pneumatic control systems and operation of electrical, measurement, and instrumentation equipment
- Apply basic troubleshooting and repair skills for equipment related to the instrument and electrical trade
- Utilize basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- You can communicate effectively with individuals at various organizational levels using strong verbal and written skills
- Hold a High School Diploma and trade school education focused on Electrical or Instrumentation, or an Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
- You bring five or more years of related experience in the field
- Maintain a valid State Driver’s License and ability to access multiple refinery locations
- Travel to remote locations as needed, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and respond to callouts including weekends and holidays
