As a Dental Assistant, you will be a key member of the team charged with the
care and treatment of our patients. You will be communicating with patients, assisting
the patient's comfort, educating patients, keeping on schedule, and
compliance with all regulatory guidance. You’ll be an integral part of our team and will
help be a part of providing excellent dental care to our valued patients. You will have opportunities for training on and off site for professional growth as well as team building events that contribute to our family oriented office culture.
Requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant
-Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Promotes the company's growth and success by contributing to the positive culture in
accordance with the company's core values, mission, and vision.
-Assures each operatory is cleaned and sanitized, stocked with necessary instruments
and supplies, and is ready for patients before the patient is greeted and escorted to the
operatory.
-Take radiographs (x-rays) in accordance with established guidelines.
-Assists clinicians in providing treatment.
-Prepare for and take alginate impressions as necessary.
-Provides comprehensive post operative dental instructions to patients (as directed by the
clinician).
-Efficiently work with various clinicians.
-Assist other dental assistants, hygienists, and office staff as needed to assure smooth
patient flow.
-Prepares lab cases for the following day's schedule and assures the cases are complete
and ready.
-Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, communications, and customer service skills.
-Always meets the standards of professional and ethical conduct.
