About Floor Authority
Floor Authority is a multi-market flooring company serving production builders, custom builders, commercial clients, and retail customers across the Southeast. We handle the full scope — from estimating and material sourcing to installation and warranty — with our own field teams, warehouses, and showrooms. We build our own technology to run the business, and we’re investing in the people, processes, and structure to support the next stage of growth. If you want to be part of a company that’s building something, not just maintaining it, this is the place.
Role Purpose
The Showroom Receptionist is the first face and first voice of Floor Authority. Every walk-in customer, every inbound call, and every scheduled measure starts at the front desk, and this role owns that first impression. Beyond the desk, the Showroom Receptionist keeps the showroom itself ready to sell: samples current and labeled, the catalog accurate in FloorCore, displays stocked, and the space clean and organized. The sales team closes business in this showroom every day — this role makes sure the environment, the samples, and the customer experience are never the reason a sale stalls.

What Success Looks Like
Every Customer Is Greeted: No one stands at the desk wondering who to talk to. Walk-ins are welcomed quickly and connected to the right person or section.
The Phone Gets Answered: Calls are answered live, routed correctly, and messages actually reach their owner. Measures get scheduled right the first time.
The Sample Library Is Current: The showroom floor matches the FloorCore catalog. New samples are out and labeled within days, returns are put away same-day, and nothing on the floor is discontinued or mislabeled.
The Showroom Sells Itself: The space is clean, stocked, and organized — customers and the sales team never notice the upkeep because it’s always done.
Reviews Keep Coming: A steady flow of Google reviews comes from customers who were asked at the right moment by someone they liked talking to.
