The License Company helps individuals and businesses obtain their professional business licenses. We work with contractors, travel agents, and other industries which require a state license to operate. Additionally, we provide business formation services such as business formations and other state filings.
About The Office
This position is 100% remote. The applicant must reside in the USA.
About The Position
We're looking for a motivated individual seeking an opportunity to flourish in a professional licensing company. The candidate will report directly to the department manager and assist with those duties mentioned below. Ideally, the position will be on a full-time basis (approximately 32-40 hours weekly) but we will consider part-time applicants. NOTE: This is not a sales position.
- Communicate with clients via email and scheduled calls.
- Enter customer and contact information into CRM.
- Assist clients with state and local licensing.
- Assist existing employees with their new and existing accounts.
- Special projects including license research, database development, and others.
- Following up with various state agencies on the status of client applications.
- Financial duties including processing payment, billing, and purchasing.
- Social media, website editing, and marketing.
- Other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and electronic communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent typing skills.
Knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
Prior knowledge of QuickBooks, Adobe, and the Microsoft Office Suite are a plus but not required.
