SUMMARY OF POSITION:
KMC is seeking a Machine Operator to Set Up and Operate a Q Machine. This position is located in the Walkers Point area of Milwaukee. This position is also required to safely operate an overhead crane to load/unload raw materials and dies within the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Setup Slide equipment to KMC standards to ensure jobs can be run safely and at-rate

Evaluate active production runs to ensure run at-rate

Responsible for troubleshooting of production and setup runs, and make modifications within specified limits

Will provide direction to Slide Operators during production runs, as necessary as well as train Slide Operators
-
Accurately record labor, inventory, update tool maintenance requests, and job data in ERP system
-
Provide continuous improvement suggestions for jobs running through the Slide Department
-
Assist Tool & Die personnel in troubleshooting, adjusting tools, and or change over tooling
-
Will operate a crane to load and unload raw material
