Modlite builds premium lighting systems trusted by military, law enforcement, and demanding end users worldwide. We don't cut corners on the product. We're looking for a marketing leader who brings the same commitment to excellence, accountability, and results. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone comfortable wearing multiple hats in a lean, fast-moving environment. Your focus will be strategy, budgeting, team leadership, campaign performance, and brand growth — not day-to-day content production. You'll set direction for how Modlite goes to market, manages budget, launches products, and builds presence in the tactical and defense space. This is an onsite role, and is full time in our headquarters in Boerne, TX.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Product Launches
- Drive go-to-market strategy for every new product from naming brief through launch day
- Develop launch timelines, marketing materials, and channel plans
- Lead product naming strategy and coordinate with outside trademark counsel on filings
Brand & Creative Direction
- Direct our in-house Media Manager and guide the creative output of the team.
- Set the standard for brand voice, visual direction, and campaign concept across all channels.
- Communicate creative direction to 3rd party contractors.
Advertising & Analytics
- Manage ad spend across Meta and Google Ads.
- Lead marketing performance reporting through Triple Whale, GA4, and other relevant analytics platforms
- Deliver clear, actionable performance reports to leadership on a regular cadence
Public Relations
- Drive proactive PR: press releases, media pitches, product embargoes, and launch coordination.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant media and industry voices.
- Serve as the lead on all external-facing PR statements
Trade Shows & Industry Presence
- Lead Modlite's presence at SHOT Show, including strategy, budgeting, logistics, partnerships, and post-event performance evaluation.
- Represent the brand at industry events and build relationships that matter.
Affiliate & Partner Marketing
- Oversee and grow the Modlite affiliate program.
- Develop strategic partnerships with aligned brands, retailers, and industry organizations.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
You can evaluate campaign performance, identify what's working, and make decisions without needing someone else to interpret the numbers. You're fluent in modern e-commerce marketing tools, including Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, analytics platforms, email marketing systems, and AI-assisted workflows. You're tool-agnostic and focused on results. You have experience leading teams, managing budgets, launching products, and driving measurable business growth. No degree required. Show us your work.

Ideally, you have meaningful marketing experience in tactical, firearms, defense, law enforcement, outdoor, or closely related industries where brand trust, credibility, and audience alignment matter.
Exceptional candidates without direct industry experience may still be considered if they bring outstanding marketing leadership, highly relevant adjacent-market experience, and a clear ability to translate that experience into this space.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications. The upper end of that range is reserved for candidates with highly relevant experience and an exceptionally strong fit for the position.
