Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver freight efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in commercial driving, route management, and vehicle operation will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, across designated routes to deliver freight on time
- Unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for compliance and tracking purposes
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries, and address any issues that arise during transit
- Assist with loading or unloading freight when necessary, ensuring proper load securement and safety procedures are followed
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with a focus on freight transportation
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using pallet jacks or other equipment as needed
- Strong knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices to optimize delivery times
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with federal and state regulations

Pay: $24.43 - $29.42 per hour
