About the Role:
Twisted Oaks Family Therapy Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, ASW, or ACSW) to join our growing team in Paso Robles and Atascadero, CA. Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, children and/or couples therapy services to a diverse client population
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation including progress notes and treatment records
- Collaborate with supervising clinicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
- Participate in regular clinical supervision as required by BBS licensure guidelines
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support client goals and outcomes
- Maintain professional ethical standards in accordance with California BBS regulations
Requirements:
- Active California BBS registration as an AMFT, APCC, ASW, or ACSW
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Strong commitment to accumulating supervised hours toward full licensure
- Experience or coursework in evidence-based therapeutic approaches (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and client interaction
- Empathetic, client-centered approach with strong professional boundaries
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
