Responsibilities

- Manage patient flow efficiently by coordinating appointments, follow-ups, and referrals in accordance with clinic protocols.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records while adhering to health regulation policies and privacy standards.
- Communicate clearly with patients via phone and client communication channels to answer questions, provide instructions, and confirm appointments.
- Support medical staff by preparing documentation, updating electronic health records (EHR), and handling administrative tasks such as typing reports and processing insurance information.
- Assist patients with understanding their health insurance coverage, billing procedures, and necessary documentation to ensure smooth administrative processes.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing patient concerns promptly, maintaining confidentiality, and fostering a positive clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a medical office setting or dental office experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of health regulation policies, medical terminology, and electronic health records (EHR) management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook for administrative support tasks.
- Familiarity with patient management software and medical administrative support functions.
- Excellent communication skills for phone conversations and client interactions; ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Knowledge of health insurance processes and maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with privacy laws.
- Office experience demonstrating organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
