Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive event plans that include budgeting, scheduling, vendor negotiations, and logistics coordination.
- Manage all facets of event marketing campaigns to maximize outreach and engagement across multiple channels.
- Coordinate venue selection, catering arrangements, banquet services, and setup to ensure seamless event execution.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, sponsors, and partners to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee event registration processes, guest services, and on-site management to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Collaborate with sales teams on upselling opportunities during events to boost revenue and brand visibility.
- Track event performance metrics post-event to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event planning, event marketing, or hospitality roles such as restaurant, hotel, or banquet service.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors, clients, and team members.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and experience in managing event-related expenses.
- Familiarity with fundraising activities or guest services is a plus.
- Prior experience in catering coordination or restaurant/hospitality environments enhances suitability for this role.
