Recovery Ways is seeking an IOP Coordinator to serve as the operational hub of our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating care, building relationships, solving problems, and helping patients successfully access life-changing treatment.
While this role includes occasional group facilitation, it is primarily an administrative and coordination position focused on ensuring our patients, referral partners, and clinical teams experience a seamless admissions and treatment process.
What You'll Do
As the IOP Coordinator, you'll be at the center of our outpatient program by:
- Coordinating daily IOP operations, schedules, referrals, and admissions
- Serving as the primary point of contact for referral sources and prospective patients
- Guiding referrals from initial inquiry through admission or appropriate referral
- Assisting with intake paperwork, orientation, and onboarding
- Collaborating closely with Admissions, Clinical Services, Utilization Review, Billing, Business Development, and Leadership
- Tracking referrals, admissions, attendance, census, and discharges
- Identifying barriers to admissions and helping improve program efficiency
- Supporting community referral relationships and providing accurate program information
- Facilitating psychoeducational or skills-based groups within your credentials and training
- Providing occasional program or group coverage
- Assisting with discharge coordination and continuity of care
- Supporting drug-screen collection and documentation when needed
- Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and relevant experience
- Experience in behavioral health, admissions, program operations, or a related setting
- Working knowledge of behavioral health services and levels of care
- Ability to facilitate assigned groups within your training, credentials, and scope of practice
Preferred
- Experience in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or behavioral health treatment environment
- Clinical education or behavioral health credential
- Experience with admissions, intake coordination, referral management, or program operations
