Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning Technician to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine surface finish
- Handle janitorial responsibilities including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies
- Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Maintain cleanliness standards by following established protocols for sanitation and safety regulations
- Occasionally assist with residential painting or light maintenance tasks to support overall facility upkeep
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of commercial and industrial cleaning practices
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures and basic repair skills
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and carpet cleaners effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
