Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist / Personal Trainer

Compass Pain and Wellness is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and knowledgeable Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist / Personal Trainer to join our growing clinical team.
This is not a traditional personal training position. You'll work alongside physical therapists, chiropractors, physicians, and other rehabilitation professionals to help patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, and regenerative medicine procedures safely regain strength, mobility, and confidence.
Our practice is recognized for its comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal care, combining advanced regenerative medicine with rehabilitation to help patients return to the activities they enjoy. As a member of our rehabilitation team, you'll play an important role in guiding patients through therapeutic exercise programs designed to maximize their recovery.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys movement-based medicine and wants to expand their clinical knowledge while working in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead patients through individualized therapeutic exercise and conditioning programs under the supervision of licensed physical therapists and chiropractors.
- Reinforce proper movement mechanics, posture, body awareness, and exercise technique.
- Educate patients on safe exercise progression, stretching, strengthening, and injury prevention.
- Monitor patient performance, provide encouragement, and communicate progress to the clinical team.
- Assist with therapeutic activities for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain conditions, and regenerative medicine procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with daily rehabilitation operations.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and motivating rehabilitation environment.
Qualifications
- Experience as a personal trainer, chiropractic assistant, physical therapy aide, exercise physiologist, or in a similar rehabilitation or movement-focused role.
- Strong understanding of exercise science, movement mechanics, posture, and functional training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for helping patients recover from injury and improve their quality of life.
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
