Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise HVAC installation crews on residential and light commercial projects.
- Install and commission HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems.
- Install, modify, and troubleshoot ductwork systems to ensure proper airflow and performance.
- Measure, fabricate, and install refrigerant line sets according to manufacturer specifications.
- Install and service Mitsubishi Electric systems, including mini-split and multi-zone applications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings.
- Ensure installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer requirements.
- Perform startup, testing, and commissioning of installed systems.
- Train and mentor junior installers and apprentices.
- Communicate with customers, project managers, and other trades to coordinate work.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, material usage records, and installation reports.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of HVAC installation experience, including residential and light commercial projects.
- Demonstrated leadership or crew lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of ductwork fabrication and installation.
- Experience installing refrigerant line sets and performing pressure testing, evacuation, and charging procedures.
- Hands-on experience with Mitsubishi Electric HVAC systems preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Pay: $30.00 - $48.00 per hour
