Mobile X-Ray Technologist

Specialty Portable X-ray is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Mobile X-Ray Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare settings. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while making a meaningful impact on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned healthcare facilities and private homes to perform diagnostic X-ray examinations.
- Operate portable X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to physician orders and imaging protocols.
- Verify patient identity and explain procedures to patients and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.
- Communicate effectively with facility staff, physicians, and radiologists.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification required.
- Valid state Radiologic Technologist license.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule.
- Experience in portable imaging, long-term care, or mobile healthcare settings preferred but not required.
