We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitise dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Organise clean items for storage or immediate use in the kitchen or dining areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including cleaning vegetables or organising ingredients.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and surrounding surfaces.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
- Support the kitchen team with additional duties during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards within a hospitality setting.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
