Duties
- Lead and supervise banquet kitchen operations, coordinating food preparation and service for multiple events simultaneously
- Oversee menu planning, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and align with event requirements
- Ensure all food safety sanitizing procedures are strictly followed to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on food production techniques, food handling, and safety protocols
Skills
- Extensive banquet experience with a strong understanding of large-scale food production and service management
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to adapt menus accordingly
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards in commercial kitchens
- Leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high morale
- Excellent organizational skills for shift management, menu planning, and inventory control
- Background in fine dining or restaurant management is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in serving high-quality meals
