The Fleet, Shop & Facilities Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence across Fleetpro’s internal fleet maintenance and repair operations, shop productivity, facilities, and customer job readiness. This role oversees preventive maintenance and inspections, purchasing and inventory control, regulatory compliance, and facility and lot management within a fast-growing organization known for quality and innovation.

This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the effective management of the company’s shop and yard operations, ensuring efficient workflows, safe facilities, and best-in-class service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management: Oversee comprehensive fleet operations by managing preventive maintenance programs, repairs, regulatory compliance, asset and maintenance records, vendor coordination, and cost control for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
Shop Operations: Lead and optimize daily shop operations by managing workflow, inventory, purchasing, and technician performance while enforcing safety standards, standard operating procedures, and key performance metrics to drive efficiency, quality, and timely turnaround.
Facilities & Lot Management: Manage and maintain shop facilities and grounds by overseeing inspections, safety and environmental compliance, preventative upkeep, repairs, capital improvements, and vendor services to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
Administrative & Leadership Responsibilities: Provide strategic and administrative leadership by managing budgets and compliance, supporting hiring and staff development, collaborating with ownership on growth initiatives, and serving as a point of contact for customer operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in fleet maintenance or heavy‑duty shop management
- Demonstrated experience with preventive maintenance programs
- Strong working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and applicable state regulations
- Experience managing technicians, vendors, and facilities
- Proficiency with purchasing & inventory software, fleet management software, or maintenance tracking systems
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required
- Forklift certified
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE Certifications or equivalent technical credentials
- Experience servicing public-sector or vocational fleets
- Facilities management experience in a shop or industrial environment
- Budgeting and cost‑control experience in a multi‑asset operation

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
