Join our dynamic team as a CDL Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. As a vital link in our logistics network, you will operate tractor-trailers and specialized vehicles to transport refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, and other freight. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route planning, and cargo handling will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized equipment for hazardous materials transportation.
- Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes.
- Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly according to logistics cargo handling standards.
- Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations during all phases of transportation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after each trip.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any incidents encountered on the road.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving with a focus on freight transportation.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailer operations, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling.
- Hands-on experience with manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers for load & unload procedures.
- Knowledge of route driving best practices using GPS navigation tools for efficient delivery planning.
- Prior experience in automobile transportation or logistics cargo handling is highly desirable.
- Valid CDL license with necessary endorsements such as Hazmat or Tanker certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and safety protocols for truck driving.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,300.00 per week
