TERM: Full-Time position
JOB GOAL: Will work with our experienced senior maintenance team members to develop skills and experience to ensure safety, quality, and productivity on tasks given. Perform all tasks assigned by the Team Leader, Foreman, or other Administration for the Maintenance Department to prevent damage, maintain, or enhance the physical plant and or facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:
- Serve as a technical support resource to all operational and manufacturing areas.
- Ensure all manufacturing equipment and facilities are properly maintained and remain in efficient operating order to avoid operational downtime
- Develop, implement, and manage effective preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all equipment. Utilize CMMS system effectively to capture knowledge and maintain service records
- Perform fault diagnosis and repair equipment and facilities as necessary
- Proactively design, fabricate, recommend and implement improvements to existing equipment and facilities to enhance operations and operating efficiency
- Seek alternative methods, approaches, and sources to minimize maintenance cost and maximize performance
- Participate in the design and installation of equipment and processes for most effective use of materials, machines and human resources
- Manage and maintain a well-organized shop, tools, parts inventories and replenishments
- Participate in effective employee development programs, job training, and comprehensive safety training in compliance with all federal, state and company requirements.
- Maintain high quality standards for all products and processes with a continuous focus on providing outstanding service to our internal and external clients
- Experience in fabrication, construction, facility maintenance, overhead cranes or similar industrial experience preferred
- Meet the health and physical requirements
- Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent might find appropriate and acceptable
- Excellent organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills are essential.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: This individual will have primary responsibility for performing plant and equipment maintenance, fabrication, installations and facility services in all aspects of the semi-automated and computer/PLC controlled manufacturing operations. Completing repairs, maintaining building equipment, machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems and production equipment. Identifies problems, conducts troubleshooting, and performs preventative maintenance and maintenance service. Install new equipment/systems. Update various types of equipment to improve efficiency as needed.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
