Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza ingredients such as dough, sauces, cheeses, vegetables, and meats with attention to freshness and quality standards
- Assemble pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
- Assist in portioning ingredients accurately for efficient meal preparation during busy service hours
- Support the kitchen team in food handling tasks including slicing, chopping, and storing ingredients properly
- Follow all food safety protocols related to hygiene, sanitation, and proper storage practices
- Collaborate with cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen environments preferred; experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Strong knife skills for slicing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients efficiently and safely
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
