Operating and Driving a Light Duty Tow Truck/Wrecker, must have valid Class C driver's license. Must have at least one year light duty tow truck experience, CTTA or AAA certifications a plus in addition to any other certifications related to safety or tow truck operation training. Previous CHP rotation experience a plus, familiar with light duty equipment including wheel lift and/or flatbed. Must be able to pass a background check for ability to pass law enforcement requirements given we work closely with law enforcement spanning across multiple agencies. The ideal candidate will have a good commercial driving record and be able to handle light duty towing situations based on individual experience. Night Shift experience preferred. We can accomodate shift location at any of our three locations Monterey Park (Main Office), West Covina and Whittier.
Responsibilities
- Operate a light-duty tow truck to safely transport vehicles to specified locations.
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics and assess mechanical issues when loading vehicles onto the tow truck.
- Utilize manual transmission skills to maneuver the tow truck efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients during vehicle pick-up and drop-off.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading procedures are followed to prevent damage to vehicles.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and at job sites.
