Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter with a proven ability to read blueprints, manage projects, and lead a crew. This is a hands-on leadership position for a jack-of-all-trades who can handle all aspects of construction and carpentry, from framing to finish work, while coordinating workflow and ensuring quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and execute project blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Perform advanced carpentry tasks including framing, finish work, and custom builds
- Supervise and direct a crew to complete projects on time and to quality standards
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Maintain a safe and organized worksite in compliance with OSHA standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues to keep projects moving forward
- Ensure materials are used efficiently and track job progress
Qualifications:
- 5+ years carpentry experience (framing & finish)
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Leadership or foreman experience in construction projects
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc.)
- Experience with residential and/or commercial projects
- Project layout and measurement skills

Pay: $48,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
