Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic and outgoing vendor to join our team at the Fulton Street Market. You will represent our brand by selling fresh products (baked goods, pirogi, pastries, and more) and engaging with customers. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has knowledge of local and traditional Slavic products, and is eager to contribute to the growth of our market stall.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and decorate the market stall (arrange tables, display products, create price tags).
- Sell products, advise customers on items, and highlight product features.
- Operate a cash register/POS terminal and maintain sales records.
- Keep the stall clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with product delivery when needed.
- Promote products via social media or word-of-mouth (optional).
Requirements:
- Prior experience in sales, retail, or customer service is a plus (but we train motivated newcomers).
- Required: Personal vehicle (car/van) for product delivery and punctual arrival. Transportation compensation provided.
- Proficiency in Russian or Ukrainian is preferred for customer interactions.
- Physical stamina: Ability to work outdoors and lift boxes (up to 30–40 lbs).
- Team player with a positive attitude.
