Pharmacy Technician – Full Time (Tuesday–Saturday)

SmartScript Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our busy compounding pharmacy team. This full-time, first-shift position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, values accuracy, and is eager to learn all aspects of pharmacy operations.
Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician will assist with a variety of pharmacy functions, with primary responsibilities including computer data entry, prescription filling, and prescription packaging. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and be cross-trained in multiple areas of the pharmacy to support overall workflow and patient service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system
- Fill and package prescriptions according to established procedures
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks
- Assist with inventory management and organization as needed
- Follow pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure efficient operations
- Participate in cross-training opportunities to learn additional pharmacy functions
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently and efficiently
- Good hand dexterity and manual coordination
- Willingness to learn and be cross-trained in all areas of the pharmacy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Previous pharmacy experience is preferred but not required
Schedule
- Full-Time (40 hours per week)
- First Shift
- Tuesday through Saturday
