Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and related offerings.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations smoothly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Monitor guest behavior responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and promoting a safe environment at all times.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or nightclubs, including catering services when required.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple guests promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong cash handling skills are essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling practices, and responsible alcohol service laws.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cash handling, retail math, and beverage measurements.
- Experience in food industry roles involving serving, catering, or retail math is advantageous.
